My SAFC get really Hot is that normal? Let me give you an example how hot it gets. When, I put Velcro in the back of the unit, the Glue of the velcro melts and doesn't glue anymore. That is how Hot it gets..... (sometime I can burn myself if I touch with my arm. LOL )

But the weird thing is that it seem to be working fine. I can change my fuel trims and fuel settings at WOT. But My question is: Does the HEAT affect the SAFC function? I say this because most electronic equipment does not work right under excessive heat.

Has been like this for a while but recently I got really worry.
Normally, I have it in my middle glove department but I leave it outside to have some ventilation but it doesn't help. DOn't know what to do. I am about to drill a couple of holes in the back or install a fan to it. LOL

So, Does your Safc gets Hot?

Yes they do get hot. I never velcro mine I used the mount back in the day. When I grab it, it was allways hot. Like I said never velcro it I used the mount, you can buy the mount for $15.00 but forgot where might wanna check into that.

Mine gets quite hot as well, but not to the point of actually hurting you if you touch it...It melts my velcro some too.
