My SAFC get really Hot is that normal? Let me give you an example how hot it gets. When, I put Velcro in the back of the unit, the Glue of the velcro melts and doesn't glue anymore. That is how Hot it gets..... (sometime I can burn myself if I touch with my arm.
)
But the weird thing is that it seem to be working fine. I can change my fuel trims and fuel settings at WOT. But My question is: Does the HEAT affect the SAFC function? I say this because most electronic equipment does not work right under excessive heat.
Has been like this for a while but recently I got really worry.
Normally, I have it in my middle glove department but I leave it outside to have some ventilation but it doesn't help. DOn't know what to do. I am about to drill a couple of holes in the back or install a fan to it.
So, Does your Safc gets Hot?
