Hey guys Im trying to tune my LO setting on my SAFC

I can not seem to get my Low fuel trim past 82-85% ... :S

This means I have to lean it out right ? So i tried all settings and waiting...nothing got it to 87.5 - 89.0 once until the ECU brought it back to 82-85%.

What I did was set my Fuel 02 trim to 100 +/- 10. Any suggestions ?

Also for WOT I tune for knock right ?

I was doing 3rd gear pulls from 2-3k WOT all the way to 7k - 7.5k

Trying to tune out the knock and stay in the right voltage. Im roughly at .93v -.97v

on 92octane gas. Think this is good since I dont want to go past .98v correct?

Also my TIMA was 13-17 Degrees ...seems a little low ? no ?

Is this the correct way to tune WOT?

Knock was 0-7 pending on pulls...some times without changing settings I would get more knock...Is this normal ?

I still have to tune better and check my base timing. If my base timing was higher then 5* how would that effect my WOT TIMA?

Setup:

14b
550cc
SAFC 1
255hp wired
Stock FPR
17 psi
92 octane
3" exhaust... its leaking at the flex.
Logger w/ MMCD

any advice of what so ever would help since Im new to this tuning stuff.

I learned from personal experience the only way to get it all right is tuning out knock and getting the afr right. I wouldnt push it until you get a wideband or might end up melting something. also another thing, you should show 0 knock when you get it right.

been reading alot of people have great tunes with SAFC and loggers.

Wideband is coming in the next couple weeks and DSMlink after that just want something for now.

Should I be basing my self on my FT02 for the low setting ? saw somewhere between 80-100 is good ? or is my FTRL suppose to move right away while sitting in my driveway?

my FTRM and Hi are 96~ and 103

hey guys I was playing around with my SAFC and well I can NOT get my FTRL @ 100% at idle... its impossible I get it 100-103% will drive >80Hz i think it is no problem...

Im running way to rich at idle ... and cant fix it with the SAFC.

Is this because I have a wally 255 HP rewired and STOCK FPR?

once I install my AFPR this should fix it ?

If its not the AFPR then Im thinking its a boost leak at the manifold and will have to check that out.
