hey guys i just hooked up my safc 2 controller tonight a i have 1 problem. evrything works fine but the rpms read differant then on the dash. like example. the stock tach reads 1400 and then the safc reads 700? whats wrong? thanks kevin

Double check under the "etc." menu/"setting cylinder." Make sure this is set to 4.

If you follow the APEXi manual you will wire it up wrong and it will only see half the ignition pulses.
You can either set the cyls to 2 or correctly hook up the RPM wire to either the CAS signal (1G ECU pin 21) or the Ignition Pulse signal (1G ECU pin 109).

If it's correctly wired it will read the right RPM with the Cylinders set to 4.

Hmm, never knew that. Good to know!
