ok SO I have a 95 Talon with a small 16g. I am burning more fuel lately so I decided to hook up my SAFC 2. Now I have crazy booging problems from 1000-3000 rpm and fuel going like crazy. Any ideas for good settings?

Did you make sure you hooked it up correct? Wires not connected correctly, and not going where they are supposed go can cause this, also are the setting in the safc correct? You should not mess with it if you dont have a logger, air/fuel gauge or and exhaust temp gauge, then there is no point in giving it a rough tune as your not dyno tuning it, and if you dont have the all of the above mentioned it may cause the car to run like crap, or you may lean it out to much and blow it up.

I have an A/F gauge and a logger with pnstein. I used the instructions from here and the manual that comes with the logger for the correct pin to tap into. Everything is working good, but I just need to know what cr would be to put it at. O yeah the A/F says it is running crazy rich.

yeah all stock fuel. I was thinking boost leak, but it spools great from 3k rpm through redline. I just need a good setting for the cr to get things set at and I can watch things and tune from there. I was reading a post from a guy with 780 injectors and he was set at -25 across the board, is that good?

With stock injectors, you want to leave the correction factors alone and just set the TPS trigger points and sensor type. If this problem just started after the installation of the SAFC, then you either have something set wrong, or there is a wiring problem.

Check this guide and verify your connections.

Yeah that is the one I used for my install.

So I checked the wiring and I had a question if anyone knows, in the instructions it says to cut the a/f wire and connect the pink one to one side and the orange to the other. I thought that meant to not connect to other side back into the system so everything would just run thought the SAFC. But you need to hook the pink wire to one end of the a/f wire and the orange to the other side and all back together so in the end you have a connector with 2 wires in each end, right?

Thanks!!

Yes the Airflow wire needs to go back into the ECU, your intercepting the signal, then modifying it via the S-AFC then sending it back to the ECU.

OK so when you are finished you will have 2 connectors, one with blue/yellow A/F with orange and one with blue/yellow A/F with pink. That was my problem, I should have figured that, but I was just reading it wrong.... Thanks for the help!!

I just want to say that I love your new avitar Tyler.
I like it as well but it's against the rules :D , Tyler, please change it before some moderator gets to it.

Avatars

Avatars should consist of a photo of your DSM. If you don't own a DSM or don't have a photo of your DSM to use, please do not use the feature. The photo should be 170 pixels wide. If it is not that size, it may not display correctly. Please, no photos with people posing with your car. New Members are not able to use the Avatar feature.

your not going to want to pull any fuel. if anything you need more!!what kind of a/f guage do you have? if its one that lights up like an xmas tree its useless. that should just be used as a refernce to make sure your o2's are working. you need a wideband tune. go to a dyno before you melt your block!

Yeah I just unhooked it until I have injectors, a pump and can get on a dyno...
