I tried it out today actually, my trip to the car was pushed back a day.
I've got pictures and video but I don't have my camera cable or my lap top with me so I'll upload them when I get home (Friday or Saturday).

Everything works minus the high beam light (connected to the wrong spot) and the fuel, temp, tach and speedo. I left out the plug that controls all those functions because I still need some converters for them (Speedohealer and Autometer Tach Converter).

I'll finish the pin out and post it over the weekend too. Not sure how though since I can't attach files to the blog.

I managed to get some pictures upload, yay!

I connected the high beam light to the wrong wire and didn't plug in my turn signal relay so the signals only worked with the hazard button but it turns on and everything else works.
I don't have the Speedohealer or Autometer Tach converter yet so the plug that has those features (plus the temp and gas gauges) has nothing wired up yet. This was all a simple test to make sure everything was working.

Here's a video too.

Thanks!
I've got the diagram partly done but I still need to figure out a couple other functions 100%. I'll post a JPEG of the DSM Cluster wiring in the mean time though.

wow excellent mod. I would really love to do this to my car, after a write up is published of course.

its a shame that i have no need of the 9k redline... and the newer tach is less attractive.

IMO this is dope. For someone to have the ingenuity (and spare money) to slap an S2K gauge cluster into a 2g is beyond me. That's not something that I would have ever thought of and I'm mating a R154 1JZ Supra trans to a 420a...

Kudos to you Blurred_Talon:applause:

I was going to attempt this last year but sold the car before actually getting around to it. If anyone wants to do it, I have my s2000 cluster, a couple of 5V converters I made, and the coolant module I will sell.

Got most of the wiring out of the way finally. I need to test the tachometer and see if it will work without an adapter.
Gonna be doing that this week when I head out to the car, not sure what day though.

I also had to grind down one of the female plugs on the cluster, the PO had made his own harness and messed things up a bit.

After some dremel action.

I also plant to look into the trunk open light, I'm pretty sure it needs to see a ground.

My passenger air bag is gone so I figured why not make use of the space, both of my secondary fuse boxes are mounted there, my 12V to 5V converter (mounted to the metal plate to be used as a heat sink) and my Modifry ECT module. I still need to get my Speedohealer and mount it here and I'd like to mount my engine bay fuse box in there too.
