ok i hope that nobody has answered this question yet. if it is please tell me where. anyway im working on a 4g63 6 bolt swap into an rx7 anyways i was wondering how much the stock 13b transmission or the turbo transmission could hold. im looking to push a respectable 350 reliable wheel horse power on it. any info on how much both are capable of doing is awesome.

thats funny ive actaully been to that site, which is where i found out simply how to bolt it up. my question is is 350-450 rwhp too much for a stock TII trans or is a stock non turbo 13b trans good enough? by the way is the stock non turbo 13b trans exactly the same as the turbo 2 trans or is it made beefier to handle more power?

the 13b turbo trannies can hold much more hp then the non turbo trannies, a good friend of mine has blown his non turbo tranny just from a modded non turbo 13b motor. A good turbo II tranny is pretty strong and is supposed to be able to handle up 350-400hp, just depends on how many miles your turbo tranny has, but yes a turbo II tranny is much stronger more heavy duty then the non turbo trannys.

thank you sir, i have a base stock '86 rx7 FC. so knowing that im pushing around 400 hp ill need a LSD in the back anyway, so swapping it out shouldnt be that big of a deal right?
