Rusted Brake lines-help?

I'm trying to install these goodrige ss brake lines but some nuts wont budge before nearly stripping esp the soft lines that go into the hard lines in the front.

Are there any preferred methods for taking care of these?

PB Blaster and a little heat from a propane torch sometimes will do it.

Sometimes you just have to cut the line, put a new fitting and reflare it though.

I did this in November, had to replace all those blasted rubber lines. I used some penetrating oil called "Pyro" (maybe from Liquid Wrench?) or something like that, and a torch. It worked wonderful. I would soak the nuts in the Pyro oil, heat them with the torch until it all started boiling away, and repeat a couple of times. Then the nuts turned right off. Before doing this, the nuts were a rusted mass and would not budge.

Use water. A trick I learned is to heat the fitting cherry red,then cool it down with water.Usually it will break free easily after that.

Be careful though if the line is attached to a rubber hose,you cant use as much heat,Ive seen those hoses pop off when doing that.

Gonna catch the brake fluid on fire if you heat it cherry red!

Soak them in PB blaster over night. Spray them numerous times over a couple hours.
Then use one of These, To remove the line without stripping it.

Even those will round off the nut on a 1G with corrosion.

if spraying and a regular wrench doesnt work, i like heating it with a torch and if its stripped using a visegrip and squeezing it ungodly tight sometimes takes a few trys but they come off good luck
