So I picked up a 1g few weeks back and have been cleaning stuff up and a few oil leaks drove it a little and was running real rich for a stock car 10.0 A/R at idle. Well I took it to mod and it was running alright besides having a clutch fluid leak. for mod we put in 750's, 2g maf, computer tuned for those parts and running around 25psi ( ran great!). Problem now is I took the boost controller off so im running stock 10psi and drove the car for the first time today since i took that off and the car barely runs. Dumping so much fuel and cutting out. Need some opinions on what I should do.

Have run compression test on car, changed the plugs and wires today as well to see if that fixed the problem.

:hmm: Check the vac line to the fpr and solenoid...maybe it's torn allowing too much fuel pressure. Also check for any fluid inside the line.

I replaced all the vacuum lines on the car when I got it to be safe. I double checked them for leaks as well. FPR tested good, nothing coming out if i remove the line either to indicate a bad diaphragm.

Forgot to mention in my last comment the vac line goed right from the intake to the FPR with a t in that for my boost gauge.

Here is how all my vacuum lines are ran except for the MBC. Im running stock for now till the fuel issue gets fixed.

How was your car tune, again? And do have ecmlink ? Or just a chipped eprom ecu with no ecmlink. And maybe check the rewiring for the 2g maf into 1gen eclipse/talon.

Read above. stock chip, eprom ecu, stock 1g maf. no link or anything.

Does the wideband change value at all during idle and driving or does it just stay at 10 all the time ? Im guessing you remove the mbc and ran an vacuum line to the waste gate, which is T with the blow of valve? It might be that your car is stuck in open Loop mode, just a possibility.

It stays buried at 10 at idle unless it is idling high. Driving around it moves around. In boost it is normally around 11.1 to 12ish.

As for the vacuum line it goes from the intake to a T that goes to the BOV then to the waste gate. Even when I had the MBC hooked up from the J pipe to the wastegate and the intake one going right to the BOV, it made no difference.

Pulled the fuel rail today and checked all the gaskets and seals, injectors, everything i can possibly think of. i tried switching the wires around on my o2 sensor even to see if that made a difference.. I am at a brick wall with this car. I have double checked everything, replaced every seal and gasket I can. Tried different Ecu's even. Nothing seems to fix the car running rich.

ok.. thought id post a update. went back over the car replaced the junk biss screw made sure there were no leaks or anything not right. checked all wiring and sensors. Come to find out the chip that a friend sold me that was suppose to be a stock chip was in fact not. It was a junk chip he had received from someone. I found that out today when a friend come to help me with the car and noticed the chip and told me that was his old one that never worked and def wasn't stock. He gave me a real stock chip and i installed it.. car runs so much better but is still having some pooping and cracking and seems to be kinda falling on its face but not terrible. Not sure if it could be because it ran rich for so long that there is some built of fuel in spots that haven't cleaned out or what. needless to say I will not be getting any help from the ( friend) that sold me a junk chip and when the car was having issues tried to buy it from me dirt cheap.
