Got a problem with my Evo 3 (2g). All mods in profile.

Freshly rebuilt (0 km)
Cold start perfect
Cold idle perfect @ 1200 - 1600rpm ( high, but not played with management yet)
Drives under cold (engine) conditions perfect
Once warm - and switches into closed loop - it splutters, won't idle well and revs
like a boxer engine. It's also impossible to drive under load when warm.

This issue occured after my last outing at the drags. End of the track - Full noise and off the gas at 22psi. No bov.. Coughed and spluttered down the return lane. Had to get towed home - even tho it idled ok - perfect.. Would not drive under load.. Revving @ Idle to 3k saw it cough like it had a vacuum leak...

Co-incedently, I melted 3 pitons over time and I did a rebuild after a leak down.. I thought it was the melted pistons that were causing the issue?? Finished the build, restarted perfect and when it got warm - died like it did after the 1/4 mile run..

Replaced / new:

AFM
CAS
Plugs
Coils
Leads
ECU
Ignitor
ISM
O2 Sensor
Boost /leak tested to 24psi - no leaks except for around the throttle butterfly shaft (nothing)
No balance shafts
-64kPa vacum at cold idle (whjile running fine).
Timing is perfect

I'm now running Haltech E11v2 via map sensor, same issue exists.. TPS / CAS, coolant sensors (all triggers) are working fine.

It seems to be an injector issue; pots 1 & 2 are wet - like the injectors are on all the time and it runs rich. I replaced the injectors - issue still exists.

Fuel pressure is not tested, it's my last option.

Anything else?????????? PLEASE, I'm going insane!!!

did you check your engine temps when warmed up?
the ecu starts pulling timing when it gets to a certain temperature(too hot)

could be simple as a thermostat?
i hope so :p

Yeah, sure did.. Check the temp gauge - still cold ..

I'll pull the housing and check the thermostat though..
