Running Rich.. Help

So i just bought an eagle talon tsi and at idle and normal cruising it seems to be fine but when i get on it it sputters, backfires some and runs super rich, i can even smell the fuel. My question is what causes this, its got a tdo5h turbo but i dont know what size for sure, it has a narrow band in it and it bounces around as it should except when i get on it it pegs all the way to the rich side and performs horribly.

Any codes? What's the fuel pressure? Do you have aftermarket pump? Do you have afpr? What kind of injectors? What ecu? Any tuning software.? Datalogging software? This wi like help

The CEL is on and the codes read catalyst because the car has no cats, coolant temp sensor and manifold sensor, can any of these affect the AF ratio? And I don't know what ecu is in it or if its ever even been tuned

well i just replaced the coolant temp sensor and its still running rich, i dont know what kind of injectors or pump or anything but i assume its stock, i really dont know though. Its running so rich that its almost annoying to drive cause its making me stink like exhaust. What should my next step be?

well fix your exhaust leaks. Use copper gaskets, they seal way better.

Answer these questions. ^^^

You can't just guess and make it go away. Find out what it's equipped with. If you're running rich, you're either getting too much fuel, too little air, or incomplete ignition. The questions above are relevant. If larger injectors were installed but it was never compensated for in the ecu, you will be running pig rich. If an afpr but the pressure is too high = rich. If it has tuning software and it was tuned to be rich = rich. Etc, etc.
