My Laser is running super super rich and im not sure why.... another concern is that my stock boost guage is way far off... ie my aftermarket will read -10vac and my stock one will be reading 7-10lbs of boost... When I go WOT the stock guage instantly shoots to 14. I am well aware the stock guage is just a guess but why would it be 7 to 14lbs off??? What happens to these cars when the MAF goes out??? How about a FPR??? Since its been cold out here in South Dakota its been running better, but it used to act like it was hitting fuel cut... Its NOT a boost leak, thats about the only thing I can tell you for sure. Just really at a loss and would like to get it running properly b4 snow falls here. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!:laser:

Did you check the back side of the board for any kind of burn marks? My old ECU had an *attempted* sensor ground repair on the back, if that trace blows or burns it can cause major issues. If you can, find someone local to swap ECUs just to be sure, my EPROM looked fine when I bought it but ended up needing a decent amount of work when I sent it in.

Usually, sometimes cases get swapped for whatever reason. We'll see if this works from my phone, but this is what a 1G EPROM ECU looks like - note the chip in the lower right corner:

Bad knock sensor?? Wouldnt it be a little bit more consistent? and since the last time I posted it hasnt acted up at all... It still idles a little high, probably around 12k... It hasnt been surging at all and no asthma attacks. Is it possible that reseting the computer fixed it???

Update: It was about *70 outside today and it was running like dog poop all day. Anything over 1400 rpms and there was a noticible stumble up until around 2500... at WOT it goes good for the most part but there is a hard stumble everyonce in a while... The stock boost guage is all over the place even when your holding the throttle steady...
