Running extremely rich (smog rich)

Hello, I have read up on other posts about running extremely rich, but I just can't seem to figure exactly why it is. I have done a full 6 bolt swap and the only aftermarket parts that are on it is short route FMIC, lightened flywheel, 2g fuel rail, stock injectors, stock turbo, greddy BOV, stage 2 clutch, and 3" exhaust STRAIGHT BACK.... I'm not sure if the straight pipe is what the main problem is, but I would like to cut down on the fuel some.... I dont have a wideband O2 yet.... Need to buy one asap...

BLT yet? The exhaust should not be a problem unless there's a leak near the front O2 sensor.

Is the bov re-circulated?

The BOV IS recirculated.

Any ideas?? Someone said turning up the boost may lean the fuel out.. Will that work?

Nope. The ECU will still inject fuel mass based on how much air mass is going in. Did you Boost Leak Test yet?

i recently replaced my intake, it was leaking a large amount of air. I have not done a full boost leak test yet

I would suggest you do the boost leak test first. The exhaust should be good, it has to be a intake leak etc.

ok, Thank you for the help. I will finish my boost leak tester this week and test it.
