Running a Straightpipe CUTOUT

So if I dont win the case with my exhaust ticket, Im thinking of going back to stock exhaust and putting a cutout after my cat. This way if A cop gets up my ass I can switch back to stock. You guys think this will be good for performance and sound? I couldnt find any videos but if you guys know any please post them.. Any info is helpful how do you think this setup will be? Also what brands do you recommend?

In all honesty the cutout after the cat its still going to be loud and only be good for track use. The stock exhaust depending on you mods will just choke up the cars power, but it will quiet and compliant to Calis laws. There are aftermarket exhausts out there that are carb compliant and quiet and look about stock.

I dont want quiet.. I want it loud but want to switch to stock if I have to.. And have the power output from the cutout also

Put the cutout right on the down section of the downpipe. Have the straightpipe exit in front of the left front wheel. Run the rest of the exhaust normally with the cat. I know there are a few vids floating around of this setup.

Take the muffler from your car and just hang it up. Then take the rest and connect it. Make it look like you have a stock exhaust but in all actuality you dont. SLIGHT OF HAND
