THe car is a 90 GSX, heres the story engine is a JDM just installed and has been running great, we bought a autometer tach, went for the install, pulled out the ecm and spliced in the signal wire for the tach which was pin109 on the big plug(crank angle sensor), this is what I read was the right wire, goto start it , runs on 2 cylinders for about 5-10secs. and then the car dies, we unhooked the tach ,andwe were unplugging the battery by the way while meesing with ecm, anyways unplugged the tach and hooked everything back up and the car was running fine for about a week, then we drove it to the store was running fine ,turned it off, came back out to leave and the same thing again, never had the problem before we attempted to hook up the tach, anyone seen a dsm do this before cause we are stumped ?Please help!!!!!
