rubbing noise

the other day i replaced a driverside front axle that had broke after doing donuts in the snow, guess it wasn't deep enoguh but anyhow after i put everything back together there is now a rubbing sound coming from the driver side front. im not sure what it is it does it in gear and out of gear i thoguht maybe my brakes could be sticking?, any ideas it is too cold to go mess with it right now?

Check the rotor dust shield/backing plate's clearance with the rotor

checked out the cover it is not in the way retightened axel nut, carrier bolts are tight along with the 2 strut bolts. im confused?

Is the noise there all the time? If so, it's probably not the pads sticking or you would have smell it by now. Remove the wheel and get down there and double check the dust cover, check if rotor is rubbing against the caliper bracket due to over tightening of the hub nut, check for any scratch marks. Take your time, you'll find it.

it is there from about 10 mph on after driving around the block today it kinda seems worse than a rubbing sound maybe a wheel bearing or something? i'll check to make sure no brake parts are rubbbing thanks
