Rubber exhaust hanger tips..

What is the easiest way to get my new exhaust to go into those rubber hanger things?
I don't want to rip them with screwdriver what do you guys use??

If its that bad I would use some pet or grease.

Pr-bar and a hammer.

There a pain in the butt to get the bars with the barbed type edge to slide into the rubber, but if you work it you can get it in.

WD40 will clean the rust up from the old hangers and act like a lubricant. Spray them good and wipe with a rag first to clean away excess rust and crap. Then spray them again just before you slip them through.

If you just use some grease, they'll probably slip in pretty easy. I do it every time now.

WD-40 thats what I used less messy then grease

And, the WD-40 will evaporate before any damage is done to the rubber. Leave them in the sun to heat up before installing.

I used wd 40 and they slipped in easy as pie..no hammer no pry bar needed.
I got them off the old brackets and onto my apexi brackets also without much problem. So really it was very easy.
Oh anyone know what size plug I would need to fill my rear o2 sensor hole. my old rear o2 sensor has pretty messed up threads and would rather just use a plug until get a wideband 02.Is it same as a drain plug ?

I had no problem installing my Apexi N1 system, the rubber slipped over the hangers no problem without any lube, its trying to get them off thats the fun part
