I am going to be doing another turbo upgrade and want this to be my last. I seen that AGP just came out with this new turbo the RS60T for only 699.00. This turbo is capable of some really serious horsepower 500+whp and still spools 30psi by 4k rpm. Seems to good to be true. My real goal for power right now is 400awhp and I was originally going to do it with the T04B H3 from Bullseye but when I can get something that will do even more for the same price it seems like a no brainer. I would be running this on a stock short block for quite sometime and eventually would be building a stroker to take full advantage of the turbo. Do you think this turbo would still suck driving around daily on a 2.0 even though it is spooled at 4k? Seems like most 50 trims spool around there too, how the heck is a 60trim doing it? This just seems perfect for taking me where I want to go and beyond. Any suggestions guys? Thanks!

So a 50 trim turbo will fully spool at about 3500-3700rpms? Do you think you are really going to see the difference between a turbo spooling 300-500rpms slower? I just want to avoid buying the 50trim and having to upgrade again in the future if I can just do it right the first time. I definately don't want a car that is a turd till I wait all day for my boost to kick in while driving around town. Thanks!

50 trim= quicker spooling,better pump gas turbo
60-1=slower spooling with alot more top end better for more impressive #`s
daily driving with the stock bottom end i`d get the 50, However if build the engine and have the proper fuel and want too make alot of power go with the 60 trim
50 trims have proven too make 400whp on pump gas witch is your goal.

The spool is all going to depend on the supporting mod. I see full boost on 50trim before 4K rpm in 3rd gear. That's with EVOIII 02 and 3 inch DP back. 2G exhaust mani, stock 1G intake with Crower stage II cams. I had a friend with a Green his turbo spooled around 3600rpm with ported head, web cams and ported manifolds.

Read that stroker with say 8.8 to 1 or so spool the turbo 500 to 800 sooner. So should make that 60 like a 50 trim or a bit better and make my 50 tim like an evo big 16 maybe.

That sounds like the way to go or a 50 to 75 shot to help out the 60.

yea, im going to this turbo as well, I want 450-500fwhp. sounds like a sweet price and a great turbo! I have right now bullseye's pos to4b it sucks I dont like it :thumbdown

WHATS WRONG WITH IT?

I'm a little confused, AGP uses the Bullseye turbine housing and Turbonetics just uses or copies Garrett components. So is it a bigger turbo that you want or just a polished compressor housing? If so, I could give Ben a call and see if we can't work out some sort of trade in for you. I've read through your other posts about the T04B and they were all very positive. Simply stating that Bullseye's POS T04B sucks just doesn't sit well with me and I'd like to have nothing but satisfied customers.

that is strange because we have sold numerous T04b's and have had nothing but rave reviews.

LOL! So you're going to ditch Bullseye's "pos" hybrid for another hybrid with the same turbine housing? Buhaha! What makes you think a bigger compressor wheel will make things better? Check your tuning (or lack of?) before making such a negative remark on a quality product.

Some people...sheeeshh!

.Of course it'll feel like shit without the right supporting mods.I see alot of mods but no FUEL CONTROL.I think the Bullseye housing is beautiful.Bolts my T4 right on up.

I think this might be a good thread for me to chime in on...

I run a 60-1 hybrid on my 2.3L stroker and absolutely love it. I got full boost (20psi) at 3500 rpm in 3rd gear on a stock head/cams/intake and stock unported manifold and o2 housing. Spool by 4k rpm really isn't too bad for a turbo that size, and I don't think you'll be kicking yourself for getting it either. I'd recommend it :thumb:

On a side note: The 60-trim and 60-1 are completely different compressor wheels, and the names shouldn't be used interchangably. ;)

See that's what I thought. If I get this turbo, and ran just 20-22psi on the stock block it would probably get me to my 400whp goal pretty easily. Then once I build the 2.4L I could up the boost, make more power and get a even better spool time all without even having to upgrade the turbo again. I guess the main question is, will I really notice a big difference between the 50 and the 60 at 20-22psi when it comes to spool up before I get the stroker? The stroker won't be happening for a few years so i don't want to be unhappy with the 60 until I am stroked.

The E and B designate which compressor cover is on the turbo. I believe that the E is 3" inlet and 2.25 oulet, and the B is 3.5 or 4" inlet and 2.5" oulet. The E cover is the one that fits on dsm's the best.

Your first answer is correct. However, the T04E is 7 inches in diameter and the T04B is 6 inches and they both sport the 3" inlet and 2" outlet. You may have been thinking of the T04S that is 4 inch inlet and 2.5 on the outlet, that's the one that requires a hammer mod to install.

My t04e from bullseye has a 3" compressor inlet and a 2 5/8ths inch turbine outlet.. Its an 1/8" bigger than my 2.5" O2 housing I had to Port my after market O2 housing to match the turbine housing it was so big LOL.. It has an A/R of .50 for the compressor and i forget the A/R on the turbine housing maybe .80 something??? i have no idea :shhh: this 60 trim is badass though I will have no problems getting past 450whp with this thing.

I have to agree.
I have the Bullseye 60, and I'd have to say lag is over rated.
It pulls and pulls.

That's right, I had the S and the B mixed up... thanks :thumb:

I have a T04B 60-1 and it is 2.75in intake and 2in outlet on the compressor.

my turbine housing came from bullseye not my compressor or my wheel. I got it from danial at extremeturbo took 8 weeks to arrive at my house. Its a good turbo but im looking for somthing with a little more lag due to the fact that im fwd and traction is rediculas. The To4b is a great turbo for street use spool up is great top end is great Im looking for somthing more for the track but also for the late night street use, Im not hatin on bullseye at all they make AWSOME products I might also consider an Holset from them. They seem to get awsome reviews. I have no problem with them. The main reason I dont like it is becasue I got sent the wrong one from danial then I had to send it back and he hopefully sent me the right one, but yea sorry for such a negitive comment didnt mean it to come out that way. Bullseye rocks
