rpm needle twitching

When i get to about 2200 rpms, my rpm needle kinda bounces around between 1800 and 3000 but the motor doesnt actually rev up or down, just the needle moves. Do the stock 2gb guages go out and this is a sign of mine burning out? I checked all my connectors and they are all good...maybe a ground wire sopmwhere i should check? Help please because this issue is REALLY annoying.

I've had problems in a Honda before that did that ended up being a dizzy with bad connection. My uncles neon had similar problem also ended up being the gauge cluster. If you can borrow a buddies gauge cluster to try and eliminate the option if it is it or not and also check the plugs when swapping out for corrosion or loose make sure theirs plenty of electrical grease in the plugs to prevent corrosion. If this does not fix your problem check the plugs of the harness for your ignition system and cas.

Check your power transistor, that was causing my rpm needle to go crazy like yours.
