round fog on 97-99

ok so i have been working on my 95 gsx for a while now an i was wondering if anyone had ever put on the big round fog lights on their stock 97-99 front bumper an if so can you give me some advice if it is at all possilbe

Can you be more specific as to what "big round" foglights you're talking about?The only ones that come to my mind are the ones people use on an "EVO" style front bumper which are 5inch off-road bar lights,like used on many 4x4 trucks.Is that what you mean?

Don't bump your thread.

Most of us on here remove our fog lights because they don't work with a lot of FMIC's out there. And those who still have them, have the stock ones.

Ahh, so you wanna go Fast And Furious on your poor DSM? Yes the fog lights will go in, will it make you faster? Hell no! Will it make your car look good? Hell No! Will it annoy the hell out of oncoming traffic, hell yeah! Will it make your engine temps rise? without a doubt.

So what you are saying is if I get the fog lights then there is no way I can install an FMIC on my car anD I ain't going rice I just like the way it looks I think I am going to need some Lysol to clean up all the hate

It will all depend on which exact fog lights you install, where you install them, and which FMIC you get.

well like i said i do kinda want like the 5 inch ones and i want to install them in the existing fog lights area so my next question ... is there really a differance when it come to FMIC because please tell me if i am wrong but dont all FMIC sever the same function they just come n differnt size and design

Yeah, if you push the fog lights way out! Those fog lights don't serve any purpose. Your not a ralli driver. Your just going to blocking that much air going into the car. I'd leave it sidemount cause your going to have fitment issues with the both, and your going to prob lose performance since the lights are soo big, they are going to be blocking that much air going into the ic. So it kinda defeats the purpose. Plus they are soo big, your going to have to make sure they are installed ### like to have them fit right.

If they're that big, you'll probably have to pick one or the other - fog lights or FMIC.

Yes, there are differences between FMIC's, but you have to be making a good bit of power to notice it. Most people pick by size and price vs. core used and end tank design.

So you want 2gb fogs on a 2ga? Some fmic kits allow you to keep your fogs. Such as I have a 2gb front and fogs and my fmic from hrc allows me to keep my fogs.

i do want the fog lights but not the stock fog light i want like the 5 inck fog lights or pics first if someone already has it to see what they look like
