Here is the sequence of events.

1. Got my clutch replaced
2. Lower hose connecting to the turbo pops off in traffic 2 miles down the road.
3. Fixed, loose clamp
3. Next day upper intercooling pipe hose to the TB pops off.
4. Went to home depot got a 2 inch hose clamp.
5. Clamped it down

Now here is the fun part....

My car is idling really rough and is making a loud clicking noise sounds like metal on metal from the engine compartment. Oil pressure is fine and normal but my factory "boost gauge" is a tad high.

Any ideas? I'll post a video link soon.

Okay more than likely you have a boost leak which is causing the funny idle. Hose clamps are not the best to use, in my opinion I only use T-bolt clamp. Go to autozone and pick up some they are like 2 bucks a piece but well worth it. Read this http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209898 and make one. I bet you will be suprised when you hear it leaking. That noise you hear is probably from lack of oil....let your car cool down and then check your oil. Do Not rely on your factory boost guage, its not good for anything until you get DSMLink ;)

If you paid to have that clutch replaced, I'd go back and complain. Sounds like they threw the car back together and forgot to tighten everything down.
I'd go through everything they might have removed and recheck and tighten. Even the flywheel bolts. Maybe they forgot to tighten them too...

No you dont need to pull the motor out to change the clutch. And the only dumb question is a question not asked.Just ignore the guys that will flame you for asking a "newb" question. They have forgotten that there was a time when they didnt know anything.

If you do go back through and tighten everything make sure you use the right amount of torque.Too little or too much torque can be very very bad.

well that would explain why things were popping off left and right! if your idle is still weird check all the larger vac lines on you manifold, like the brake booster and such. stuff like that could have popped off without you noticing when you were running an unknown amount of boost. I left the break boost off one time and it idled really weird. also do a boost leak test to make sure you got everything sealed back up.
