Rough Idle, Loss of power, P0340, P0120.

My timing belt blew at an idle last year around march, bent all 4 intake valves pretty bad. Swapped on a new known good head a few weeks later, car was running, albeit a little rough, but running no less, gas mileage was way down as well as a loss in power. Few months later, change out water pump as the reman I had done with head swap starting leaking bad. It runs and drives ok now, but there is still a massive loss in power, (difficult to even get the tires to spin in second), as well as terrible gas mileage.

The idle kinda sounds like I have 272's in there, but the entire engine is stock. I'm getting a tps code and a cam position sensor code. Really at a loss here, it all feels like a vacuum/boost leak, but I haven't been able to find one yet, and I have tried all the methods I could find, (smoke machine, brake fluid, Boost leak tests with soapy water)

Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you are running a little lean that will affect the way the car sounds.I would change the cam sensor and the tps sensor.Those will make your car feel like it has a loss of power.

Dead on. Have reset it like 6 times. turning the crank 6 times and everything still lines up. I'm at a loss to explain it. Compression is 148-160-158-161 hot. So its not terrible.

mine sounds like the same thing, It had that idle after i replaced the cam sensor. the timing is also dead on. my timing fluctuates from 10 to 16 degrees in advance. But i never had a warning light for the tps.

I had similar issue when my MAF went bad, had 4 codes TPS was one of them... try borrowing MAF from some one you know and see if that helps... Also could be Limp Home Mode if you have knock, but then codes don't make sense...
