rotor rattles alot.....fix?

I've always had a problem with my front rotors rattling, I have already pulled the tires and rotors and tightened the lugs down real tight and that seemed to stop the rattle for a few days but now its back and its very annoying. What are the causes of the rattling and how can I fix this?

What exactly do you mean by the rotors are rattling?
Is it that the rotors are actually loose and move around after you put the wheels on?
Or do you mean that your rotors are warped and are causing vibration?

If they're warped the vibration should greatly increase when you get on the breaks but like the other guy said, is it like the wheel nuts are loosening? If you have a torque wrench, set it at 100 and see if they are constantly needing tightening after driving a bit...if so I would not be driving that car!! maybe your wheel nuts or studs are shot.

Although you said it was more of a rattle...have you checked for wheel bearing wobble with the rotor off?

ya i recently swapped my clutch and made sure it was in fact my rotors making that rattling sound...it sounds like 2 dinner plates rattling when i go over small bumps or a bumpy road. The lugs stay tight.

It's odd that your rotors rattle, generally that doesn't happen.

By chance does your GSX have ABS, and you recently (with the last year) replaced the front rotors, and did not put the 2 bolts back on that hold the abs ring?
