clutch rattles

i had new act 2600 in with new disc. got everything install and turn the car on. everything sounds fine.

when i start the car and open the rubber piece on the fork, i can see my clutch pressure plate rattling and shaking really fast. think of it as a back massage vibrater but a little bit more violent. is that normal? no noise or anything.

the only problem is that i couldn't go into gear.

Sounds like either the flywheel is loose or your clutch is loose..... You might want to check that out...!!

As Blinky said...it sounds like something is loose in there..I would definately get it checked out

so you guys are saying that it shouldn't vibrate like that and that the pressure plate should be still even when the car is on.

i just thought that it could just be the crank/flywheel spinning and causes the plate to vibrate but i was just curious and thought it was normal.

has anyone actually seen theirs in my situation though by opening up your fork rubber piece while the car is on?
