Just a question, but what is the point in posting in a section devoted to the appearance side of modifying when you are so opposed to modifying the appearance? Sure, performance modding is cool. But it's the same aspect. How practical is it to have a faster car? Really? It's just what you like. It goes the same way for people who want body kits, wings, roof scoops, air ride, whatever. They do it for kicks and to have a good time. Let them. The point where automotive enthusiasts fail to see eye to eye is at that point where they can't reach a sense of respect for someone with a common interest. It's pointless to make a thread this long really, because most of the people that own a DSM are close-minded assholes that can't accept anything other than a stock looking car with rims and performance mods. I kinda hate owning 1 sometimes, b/c there are very few people that own DSMs that actually have a likeable personality. :thumbdown

Seeing that you obviously took offense to my statement, I see where you fit in. Thanks for taking the time to categorize yourself.

I seriously think some of us with bodykits and stuff need a seperate forum. People tend to get in the int/ext and flame the shit out of anyone who wants to modify the looks of their car b/c it is rice or b/c it isn't gonna make your car look like every other stock DSM if you do more than drop it on some wheels. If there is enough demand, can a show mod section be made or something? Maybe all show, no go? So that we can't get bitched at for doing something non-performance, since a non-performance section must not really be non-performance since so many people that post here seem to have a problem with non-performance mods. It's just really annoying that someone can't post a question that he really wants/needs answered without catching a ton of bullshit over it.

Think that's crazy? Check out the buttshot, the turbos next to the mufflers, and the ICs on each side(look like Supra sidemounts)...

anyone ever seen the porsche in person? I saw it at nopi in 02. Saw it at HIN atlanta this year and I think he had neons shining down on those turbos. Awesome car. It has mad cf on the interior also. I'd love to be driving that thing.
