So to make it through the winter until ALMS, World Challenge, F1, Grand Am Cup, and the Rolex Series start up again, I've been watching the following series on Speed:

British Touring Car Championship
V8 Supercar Championship
German Touring Car Championship

Granted, they're all tape delayed from last season but they're keeping me going until ALMS hits Sebring. The BTCC in particular is very entertaining - it's like watching World Challenge Touring Car with NASCAR drivers - they just run into eachother all race! It's great! You guys have to check it out.

The V8 Super Car is my cup of tea. Those cars and drivers are absolutely crazy. I'd love to drive one of those beast...

Australian V8 Supercar? Hoo Ya, Those races are throwdowns! Big fan here. :thumb:

The older BTCC was awesome...I'm actually looking at one Accord and five Nissan Primeras right now on my shelf, if I didn't have such a huge diecast collection, I might have a bigger turbo than a 14b(j/k)....I used to love the BTCC, I actually watched the first North American Touring car race right here in CT at Lime Rock...too bad the series didn't last here, if it's not Nascar, B-ball, or football the US doesn't get excited. Nice that all the cool racing is on during the day and when we're home from work it's all NASCAR coverage like those 30 minute long shows about the technology of NASCAR hosted by Chad Knaus..what a joke.

Yeah, I really like Bathurst - what a friggin track that is! It must be so scary when you're up on the mountain side, so close to the walls with a ton of elevation changes... so fun to watch.

Oh yeah, and thank God for Tivo! Record them all with a season pass and you can watch it whenever you want! SPEED finally started titling each series accordingly instead of titling every race that wasn't NASCAR "Auto Racing". Makes recording so much easier to find and record now, especially for season passes.

Don't forget about the A1 Grand Prix races. They tend to show them in the middle of the day, and about 2am EST.

The BTCC and the German TCs come on Speed on Mondays at noon central time and 1 central respectivly if you guys want to check them out. I know I Tivo them every week and watch them after work. REALLY fun to watch.
