Road Noise

So do Eclipse's just have alot of road noise or is it just me? I though maybe it could even be my tires? But I don't know if that is possible. ????

What brand and model of tires do you have? Tires contribute a large part of road noise. A different brand or tread pattern can make a world of difference, but in general, DSM's aren't well insulated from road noise.

Probably the tires, possibly a bearing. If you have a sunroof, a deflector is also good for cutting some noise down.

My 1G seems half as noisy as my 2G.

I have some wierd tires on there I have never heard of before. They are called Fulda Carat Assuro. They came with the car.

Also, I unfortunately don't have a sunroof.

from experience, stock 1gs seem to be alot quieter inside while driving then stock 2gs.

my windows rattle so much when opened in my 2g that i dont notice any other road noise

!! My windows rattle too. My drivers side worst than the passenger of course. I wonder if that is a 2g Eclipse thing?
