Anyone know some good instructions of removing ring and pinion. Have the manual, but leaves a lot to be desired on this section.

1. Take off diff cover.
2. Take off the bearing caps(mark which ones go on each side)
3. Then take the ring gear and diff case out all together.
4. The bearing races will fall off(mark which side they came from)
5. The shims should also fall out(mark which side, very important)
Don't take the pinion out unless you have to cause its a bi*** to put back in right because you have to do bearing preload. If you do, just take the nut off. Then push the pinion out. You will probaly need to use an impact on the nut.
Good Luck :talon:
