brian, the funny thing was i jinxed myself again!!! me and dave were working on my car and i was telling him how reliable my car has been over the last year, 10 minutes later we snapped a bolt that holds the control arm against the subframe and bolts up in the chassis in the cuts behind the floorboard. Needless to say its going to be an expensive fix. I knew i shouldnt have showed my car love for its reliability!!! So, once again, my DSM is down. The money that it is going to cost to fix this could have bought me my exhaust, so now my mods are delayed!!!

wait, which bolt broke? I have a spair like 95% sure of it, LOL. Why can't you drill through it and just tap out the treads with the proper size tap? Let me know exactly what bolt it is and I'll see what I can do.

i'll e-mail you the pictures. Its the rear most of the control arm. It goes up through the control arm, through the subframe/crossmember and into the chasis ( to get to it you have to pull up the carpet and cut a hole in the floorboard on the pass. side then you see where the bolt threads into, then re-weld the part then put the carpet back.

Dave already tried to drill into it and easy-out it, but it is IN THERE. It broke a #8 17mm bolt. Dave gave me an extra and a shop already quoted me for the job. Im going to have them do some bushings as well in the mean time and fix a stripped out bolt on the drivers side that goes from the control arm to the cross member.

People be warned, there is a DSM curse, whenever you say your car is in good condition, hasnt broke in a while, reliable, or running the best it has ever run, it WILL hear and it WILL break itself soon. At least my car has this curse, I know Brian has witnessed this for like 2-3 years now. So always say your dsm sucks, is slow, or is in some way broken or it will go and break itself.

that tends to be the case anyways, so its not like you have to tell us our cars suck... Mine is rather a sucking at life queen imo. Nothing goes right
