Reverse light

Ok so i kn this may be a lil weird but how do i replace the reverse light bulb on a 98 eclipse? I cannot find a way of getting the bulb out i have tried twisting at the back but nothing will move and it can't come out the front either. Do u have to replace the whole assembly or does the bulb come out ? Thank's

Not positive because my talon has different tail lights but dont you just unscrew the lense from the outside. I believe thats how my 94 eclipse was

You just have to unscrew the housing from the bumper, and then the bulb socket will turn and pull right out.

I tried turning the bulb and it won't even turn like it is stuck or glued in there. Thank's for the reply's.

you just twist..sometimes maybe using downward pressure and twisting.they could have been the wrong buld and the previous owner made it work.

They do twist out, sometimes it just takes a lot of force. I thought the same thing at 1st, but it just they hadn't been replaced in so long

just push down and twist, that's all there is to it and it will come out. be careful not to push too hard, i've had them stick before and it exploded in my hand and ended up changing the sockets. Just don't get to aggressive is all i'm saying.
