hello all,
i just purchased my 1996 AWD TSi turbo talon about 3 weeks ago and reverse was shot in it. so i cracked the transmission open and find that the gear is missing half the teeth(not the ideler but the gear on the ouput side shaft....) and all the bearings are shot. so the big question is there any place other than the dealer who sells gears individually,or a whole set depending on price, bearings seam to be an expensive problem but are available almost anywere. the trans is a W5m33 with a 22 spline output for the transfer case.
