Reverse Gear

ok i have a 92 talon 16v dohc 5 speed i need help asap trying to sell car people r looking tomorrow the problem i have and yes i have searched not new to forums. i can find my problem my reverse will not go into gear. if i manually put it into reverse from the tranny itself it will go in and stay but it will not go into gear from inside the car. please help me asap, like i said might have car sold by tomorrow

Don't forget to check your shifter bushings (in the console)

but thats the thing i can put it into gear at the tranny just not by the shifteralso 5th is hard to get into as well

under the shifter boot is where the cables hook up to the shifter, check that and in the console, its obviously somewhere tranny back, so look there, only so many things it could be
