What's going on?

My SFMU started leaking at the fitting coming off the bottom. I used a couple fittings to get from the -6an to the hose size, however I want to replace with a single fitting. Does anyone know what size the stock fuel return line size is? It doesn't say on the hose and just got over a foot of snow, the the car isn't going anywhere and need to order the fitting.

Also since I'm here, I used teflon on the -6an going into the SFMU. It held up fine since the install, but it leaked. When I rewrapped it a couple times and installed back in, it leaked right away again. I pulled the fitting off and the teflon was all gone. Is teflon ok to use or is there something else that works better for fuel?
