I go to bring my car to get tuned via DSMlink, the shop said my car wasnt in good enough condition just because a bunch of small things that added up. the guys at ivey tune were very honest and helpful and told me a bunch of things that my car needed...
injector clip harness
maf clip
cam angle sensor wire (6 bolt motor on 2g)
water temp sensor disconnected (car only works when not connected)

does anybody know where i can get these harnesses? and why the car wont run with the water temp sensor hooked up?

lastly they defiantly didnt like a loud screatching sound when the car would first start up and you pressed on the gas. we couldnt even figure it out because it was so loud! any ideas for that?

i wanna get my car tuned soon so your help is greatly appreciated! :D

Plug in your temp sensor, then kick the key to "on." With dsmlink logging log the coolant temp and get back to us with what it reads. If it's -71 (or is it 74?) it's bad. Basically if it reads anything way off from ambient temp then more than likely it's bad.
