only low 14s? sorry i forgot.... full 2.5 exhaust, no cat, 2.5 up pipe, greddy bov, FCD, kn filter, 2g ported man. ported 02 etc..and i forget the rest and whats highest boost it can run?

I don't know the site for the time record, but I'm pretty sure the 14b had gone 11.9

Ahh..I see, I guess your right because it actually went 11.84..

On my car, the best I've done is 12.55 @ 108.7 on the brakes in the 2003 shootout...

The 14b can get you into the 12's easy. You just have to know what your doing...

Now back to the topic on hand, with the same mods 2.5" turbo back etc..etc, I was able to do 13.1 to 13.3 at around 104mph on race gas (around 21psi). If I knew how to tune a car back then I would have gone 12.8's but that's just bench racing. Your milage may vary depending on how badly you want to trash second gear...

93 talon AWD 5 speed, with 90 6 bolt engine. total rebuild, Ported 14b, greddy s BOV, custom 2.5" up pipe, free mods, MBC, rice muffler, full 2.5 in exhaust, act 2600 clutch, ported 2g exhaust manifold, 95 TB elbow, 90 TB, polyurethene motor mounts, balance shaft elim. kit, 190 lph fuel pump.HKS FCD, datalogger. what can i expect?on 94 oct. what is the highest i can go? on my 1st dsm i rand 18 psi 93 oct. on a complete stock 90 talon, except for the 2.5 full exhaust. and kn filter.

Well, I was busy typing away a safe 16psi response urging you to get a datalogger and then you go and post your mod list and I see I am way off base. With your mods you should be running 21psi of boost, race gas, ZERO knock!!, and in the twelves on a cold night. You're going to have to drive the piss out of it to get there but it can be done...

17-19psi??? start with 17 and work your way up from there. Remember, no knock. If your getting knock your doing or there is something wrong. Vacuum leaks, ticking lifters, old fuel filter, etc...etc..every little thing counts when your tuning the car. You'll also reach a point of diminishing returns so don't push it for more boost than you can use. I would rather have a car running 17psi of boost with lots of timing advance and zero knock compared to a car running 19psi of boost with some knock and not as much timing...know what I mean?
