[RESOLVED] where are the possible areas of an oil leak

my car have an oil leak and i dont know where to look so any ideas ? also i think its not the head because its clean but please any advice

try jacking the car up and check your oil filter and your oil pan..are you sure it's motor oil and not any other type of oil. tranny fluid, powersteering fluid etc.

im sure its motor oil because its black and it smells like it

what side of the car is the oil spot or leak under?

the front case is what seals the oil pump and oil ports for the motor they often or tend to leak. its located under the cams

like i said in my previous post jack the car up and look under it to ckeck your oil filter and your oil pan. make sure you check your oil pan plug as well. if i'ts leaking bad you should be able to see where it's coming from once you jack it up.

You need to jack that badboy up and see what side it's coming from, then re-post with the answer or a pic.

i think its from the oil pan seal

Id start there it could be from other places oil does tend to like to run from place to place.
