[RESOLVED] What does this light mean?

hey guys, i just got a 95 talon TSI AWD, it did not come with a owners manual. i have ordered one from ebay and im currently awaiting arrival.

i need to know what this light means. if i start the car it runs great but as soon as i let it idle in neutral, without the clutch pushed in the Battery and this light kinda fade in/out if i push the clutch in they both stay dark.

they only fade in/out constantly when im idling in neutral without pushing the clutch.

go check and/or fill your coolant.

did a lil searching on this site. and that light means you need coolant or the sensor is unplugged

coolant level is fine so it must be a sensor.

Same light has been on in my car since I have owned it. Replaced the coolant sensor, filled the coolant. Flushed the radiator. Nothing turns the light off. Any other suggestions? I also have the washer fluid reservoir light on as well. Both same color. I've filled that as well and it only turns off temporarily. Any way I can unplug the sensor to that?

Do all 2g's have this light? Mine was extremly low on coolant and it never came on, the temp gauge just started to rise...

2gb don't have it as far as I know. Mine didn't.

If the battery and coolant light are both on when youre in neutral, your alternator is dying. I had this same issue...driving would be fine but at idle or when I pushed the clutch in, it would be dim lit up. DSMs do that...

Correctomundo. The parking brake light should also come on.
