ok for the 2g eclipse 95-99 the little button that has a logo similar to a snow flake what does it do, im assuming its traction control or something its located right by the knobs for the heater press once amber color twice and it turns green third turns off is that traction control let me know what it does thanks.
 
If your switch had been replaced with one out of an Avenger, it won't have the amber/green positions, only on and off.
Many makers have since put an "ECON" label on that button.
 
The 2-step A/C switch cooling button with amber/green colors went away after 96.

In 97-99 they dropped the "econo" option that cycled the compressor more often. Those A/C switches only have on/off with green light only.
