i hope im not asking a stupid question i searched and found a thread from last year that really had no answer im building a new motor and im using a 6bolt n/a block and the water pipe does not have a hole for the water cooling and i have a bb t-67 that i want to water cool but i really dont want to run it from the water pipe even if i had a turbo water pipe.

1. can i run it feed and return from the thermastat housing.

2. is there any other good locations for the feed. (the return is the thermastat)

i appriciate any help.:thumb:

Bumping is against forum rules here.

I know you can run the 6 bolt turbo pipe, but you stated you didnt want to. Why is that?

thats what i figured there is not enough distance to create a flow however i am curious if anyone knows some where i can tap to get it to circulate. bad example but i have one of those friends with a honda hatch with a tap into actual block with a -an- fitting curious of something like that. i just was never crazy about the water pipe location it always seems to kind of be in the way.

i appreciate the help guys so let me get this a little straighter to help stream line the answer i am not running a stock throttle body so there is no provisioning for water there unless you are refering to the outlet that comes out of the water pipe back around under the thermastat housing. and the radiator idea sounds great but it was my under standing that the thermostat housing was the drain and if i tapped the radiator then there would be two drains? thanks for all the help and keep it coming
