I have a valve cover from a 7 bolt engine. Will I have to do anything special to make it fit on a 6 bolt engine head?

The 4G63 valve cover will fit the 6 bolt and 7 bolt. Also the Mitsu 4G63 and the Hyundai NA 4G63 share the same valve cover.

you will have no problem, it fit on all 4g63 motors.
