Okay so I just picked up a nice Spyder GS-T that runs GREAT! But.. it smokes pretty good. It doesn't smoke too bad when you first start it up in the driveway but once you start driving it is smoking pretty good and at stop lights it really comes out. Some puffs also come out when I give it heavy throttle.

It's not always consistent. There are no overheating issues. It doesn't smell like coolant. It's definitely a burnt something smell. Sound like a possible turbo issue?

blown turbo seals.

Thanks guys, thats kinda what I was getting at. I'm gonna pull the IC pipe off and take a look.

If it IS the turbo seals, should I just pick up another used T25 or can I somewhat easily replace the seal? I assume those are not the same as the turbo gasket set..

Oh I just pulled the side pipe off the turbo and there is a little side by side, up down, and even a little in/out play. Bad turbo? That pipe was completely wet inside with oil. Not sure if its suppose to be like that?

I'm POSITIVE its the turbo causing the smoke. It's stinky VERY bad.

If it were seals or rings would it do it almost constantly? The worst smoking I have is when I turn a corner and accelerate or take off. I think its from building boost.

blown turbo seals..the heavy somking when you accelerate is caused by the increase of oil pressure when accelerating. it forces oil into the hot side causing it to smoke.

I'm hoping to pick up another turbo this weekend and get it installed.

It was the turbo after all. Got the replacement on and now it's running strong again!
