[Resolved] Seat belt light

I have a 97 talon A/T it keeps going into limp mode replaced the tcu shifted fine one time
then back in limp mode. The seat belt light flashes 3 times when you turn on the key
is this some kind of code could the shift pack be bad i need some help please.
It's a 1997 talon 2.0 non turbo A/T FWD

If you can take it to a tranny shop, they'll put the tester on the tranny and tell you what's going on. But, it sound's like you're due for a tranny overhaul if it's going into limp mode quite a bit. How is the fluid - smells okey, or does it have a burnt smell? For a burnt smell means a fluid change is drastically needed.

How is your cooling system since the fluid runs through the radiator to keep the fluid at an operating level? If tranny fluid gets too hot, it will scorch and lose its viscosity causing the clutches in the tranny no to to their job real well. And heat is an AT's worst enemy.

This all started when my son tried to port the throtle body we replaced the tps and the idle speed motor
i can't find any loose wires the only code was the tcu and diodes were bad but i cant find a charging
problem. Trans fluid is new was clean when we changed it it has a venom intake could the vaccum
sensor be bad

Now, BIG question: Are you a turbo or a non-turbo? And what kind of fluid did you use? If you're a turbo, you don't use any Dextron/Mercron .. since Mitz trannys ONLY uses a DIA SP-II type fluid or similar. Other kinds will destroy the clutch plates in seconds.

Well it was not the seat belt at all the throttle body had been ported and not very good
and the tps did not sent the right code to the tcm . So after changing the tcm and the
throttle body and the transmission solenoid pack it works fine thanks for all your help
