Hey guys I have a question. Is it possible to swap a set of 2g seat belts into a 1g car. The automatic ones are starting to get annoying. If not what are the other options.

Anybody got any ideas?

After looking for a while I have come up empty handed. However I will be going up to canada in the summer and I might go junkyard shopping. Might find me a few rusted out ones that I can steal a complete swap out of. Might even get another set to sell.

If you are going to modify your seat belts you might as well cancel your insurance policy because if you even touch them, and get in an accident, or a cop notices something funny about them when he pulls you over, your insurance will deny your claim, drop you, and that car will be uninsurable with any other company until they are put back to stock and inspected. Seen it too many times. Not worth the hassle. Some company will even come after you if you have a 5 point-harness installed but it hasn't been inspected by the proper people and signed off as safe. EVO owners with 4 point harness' and a harness bar behind the seats are finding this out more and more.

well the car is not insured at all right now. Might be able to install them and say this is how the car was.
