[RESOLVED] new to the game

hey what up ppl

so i just got a new car its a 95 tsi awd. i got it from a friend of a friend. i got lucky i traded my stock 98 civic for it hahah. it has some mods to it,

16g turbo
factory rebuild engine
manual boost controler
intake
exhust
and new trans and clutch

so now i need to know what next. the car is going to be my dd so it need to be done right and safe, its my only car.

so im aksing for some help on what i should do next.

Good deal on the car...

First, you may want to check on all maintainence issues and/or recalls before you do anything else.

After that, it is all a matter of what your goals are for the car when you decide what path to take when modifying or not.

Fuel pump, boost gauge, and a wideband is what I would do.

The first essentials...

1. K&N air filter
2. Boost Gauge
3. (IMO) wideband O2 sensor
4. Data Logger

After that it's alll about what kinda power you want.

Like (booostedGSX ) sayd make sure you take care of the recalls ..

After that if you want to keep it a daily driver just get a small 16g,fuel mods,safc2,data logger,and you should be good for 300hp good luck..

If you didn't already, get receipts for all the work done on that rebuild, tranny and clutch. If you can't get them or they had it down somewhere not profession, look into making sure your timing belt is good or replace it. Change all the fluids while you're digging in there.

Agreed. The last thing you want is for your timing belt to start jumping teeth.
