I'm trying to dial in my new 2.3 stroker so that it will safely run low boost levels before I start cranking it up. I'm running a boost source straight to the wastegate (all mods in profile are current).
Basically I hit 9psi pretty quickly and then it creeps to around 12psi. At about 5,500 it starts to lean out really bad, and my Knock and EGTs predictably shoot up. I've been successful at tuning the afr properly for low throttle settings and for high throttle settings (but only up to about 5,000rpm) with the AFC. I'm not hitting fuel cut (IPW and IDC says my 450cc injectors aren't maxed out yet). Even when I enrich the 5-7k rpm range a LOT with the AFC, I get the same results. One thing to note: my stock O2 sensor seems to be reading low, but my WBO2 shows perfectly fine mixture until 5,500. Look for a log w/ WBO2 below. Any ideas?

I've got the 660's sitting on a shelf. Problem is I want to switch to 2g maf at the same time to bring the timing closer to where it should be (subtract for 660's, add for 2g maff). I can't fit the dang 2g maf yet b/c my huge upper IC pipe sits right where the 2g maf wants to go. What I might do is hack the 1g maf to send some more unmetered air through and keep an eye on my timing.
The Zeitronix has actually proven to be a great tuning tool over and over, and its done well in other shootouts. Actually, taking what I've posted here in context, my WB has been THE sure thing that is telling me where I'm at. The logs show that the Zeitronix is being perfectly consistent with what my engine is doing.
