[RESOLVED] knob on stock fuel pressure regulator

Ok. I did search over and over. Does anyone know what the knob on the stock fpr does? I've tried moving it back and forth and don't seem to see any difference on the car at all. Any help would be greatly appreciate it.

I have no idea what knob you are talking about. If you are trying to adjust fuel pressure its not going to work because its not adjustable.

That is the Fuel Pressure Solenoid, not the Fuel Pressure Regulator. That knob does nothing

I am pretty sure that it is there for some reason, and the fact that moves, makes it interesting. Why does it move though?

wow thats a breather on the stock FPR solenoid it keeps it from vacuum locking the fpr. if you pull on it, it will come off and you can clean or examine it. the fpr solenoid allows the ecu to keep the FPR from seeing vacuum which causes the fuel pressure to rise on a warm startup to prevent vapor lock and hard warm starts!

I believe it's just a cap that rotates. I've never heard of any adjustability on that solenoid.
