[RESOLVED] how do i install aftermarke bov on a 2g talon

i have a 1995 eale talon and i got the greddy type rs bov. but i noticed the recirculation hose runs into the stock bov and i cant here it. so can i just do away with that?

Ideally you shouldn't get rid of the recirculation tube as it will cause problems with idle and whatnot. ideally you would switch to a GM MAFT setup so you can vent to the atmosphere without any problems. Most aftermarket BOV's can be recirculated though, if you can't figure out a way to recirc it you can always try and run it without venting but you're probably going to cause many more problems with your car than the good effects that should come with a BOV install. I personally run my HKS SSQV vented without a MAFT setup and have no problems whatsoever with idle and whatnot - but everyones car is picky. It's up to you to decide, but I would vote against it and get a GM MAFT setup.

No, venting your blow off valve to atmosphere will cause you to lose metered air. There are plenty of threads on here explaining this.
