[RESOLVED] Helppp!!! Safc Reads Wrong Rpm.

My rpms are like cut in half on the SAFCII..

Settings: Karman, 4 Cylinder,

Anyone know whats wrong??

My car is a 1g gsx.

Its only on your AFC weird....Its possible that it might be a CKP (crank shaft positioning sensor) or also a speed sensor in your transmission...i would just check the connections before i reall did anything

ya check your connections one may be loose also double check that it is set for 4 cylinders mine use to change due to a loose power connection so it would reset.

I used the SAFCII wiring diagram by APEXI.. It shows the RPM being there? Is that right?

Troubleshooting and Common Problems:
RPM Signal off by half (1G) Because of the way that Mitsubishi triggers the ignition coils, this is normal. To fix it, just set the Cylinders to "2"

Testing this right now.

Edit: 2 Cylinder fixed it.. but is that a bad thing having it set on that?

apexi is wrong, use 2 cyl, or just hook it to pin 21 and use 4.
