Very rare for these cars to be stolen.

They must have the VERY same car and make no loot, because....

They took your windshield wipers

I see alot of scavengeable parts still. Optima battery, intake pipes... I would have ripped'em off like the hulk j/k

At least it wasnt totaled. Rebuild it better than before & be happy you still have a car.

sorry to hear about your car.... but hey look at the up side aleast your car didnt get stolen twice in the same week.... i had a friend with an integra that was stolen twice in within 4 days.... first at his house and second at his girls house....

I laughed. Honestly with how things are the car's not going anywhere, it's covered and resting in a relatives driveway thankfully and not in a junkyard, though it's getting close to that unfortunately.

Hate to drag it up from the dead, but thought it this too damn bad not too.

So back before the car was stolen I had purchased some new plugs and wires to get things running a bit more properly. My friend ordered them for me, but forgot to bring them up so we could install them before the car was stolen. He had them sitting in the back of his Integra and low and behold a day after he had purchased new S Drives for it his car was stolen. Just seems like anything I had to do with that car wasn't meant to be. They left the receipt though, asses. Luckily they left some gloves and cigarette butts in his car, so maybe the cops will be able to find something off of that.

Good luck on any follow-though. Auto theft is a very low-priority crime outside the actual auto theft crew, if your local department still even has one. One of the biggest challenges to solving car theft is that most of the criminals are kids, and aren't yet in the system, so there's nothing like prints or DNA (which would almost never be used in a car theft case) to index from.
Even the auto theft crews focus more on criminal rings and things like big rig and cargo thefts than on an individual's car.
Oh, and if they catch someone? Cite and release. The courts and jails are too full to deal with such "minor" crimes. Such as the murder that will occur if I ever find who stole and burned my '84 Supra for its $150 worth of Dunlops.
