[RESOLVED] 1G speedo and odo

When I got my car back from the shop to do the clutch, the speedo and odometer did not work. Were is the sensor or gear for this located? And how should I go about fixing this? They both worked before I took it in.

on the back of the tranny, toward firewall there is a place to screw in the cable, sounds like they forgot to screw it back in. id take a pic but its too dark now

just looked at the spare tranny, its actually on top of the differential, right above where the axles go in

So is it possible to reach from underhood?

yes definitly, i also forgot to hook mine up when doing the clutch, very easy to get at.

Awesome. I mainly want it to check what kinda mileage I am getting.

That thing was easy to find, but it was a b!tch to get my arm down there far enough to line of the little spline and screw it in.
