I have a 92 Talon FWD, after about a year of owning it the transmission bearings started going and the shifter wouldn't go into 4th gear without grinding. I was unable to find a new transmission so I bought a 93 Talon FWD for parts, it has a brand new clutch and a working transmission. My question is, is there a point to having this used transmission rebuilt before putting it into my car? Or would that be a waste of money and i should just install it as is. I removed the transmission and clutch yesterday, thinking about having it installed this week. Here's some pics of both cars

Having problems uploading pics.. i will try again later

Clutch is fairly new, you can tell the kid rode the clutch alot though

if the trans in the parts car works just swap it in.
and if you want a rebuilt trans get the one you take out rebuilt.

The one i'm taking out is garbage, can't be rebuilt. But yeah i will just throw the trans from the parts car in with new bushings and seals

You can save the other trans and have it rebuilt by Sheptrans. It cost $860 for a local shop here in Mo to rebuild mine ,when I could of spent $945 to get one build by him. Just FYI:)
